In addition, Dr. Barreiro coordinates aResearch Unit on Lung Cancer at the Municipal Institute for Medical Research(IMIM, PRBB) and is part of the medical staff of the Respiratory MedicineDepartment at the Hospital del Mar in Barcelona.She is also a staff member of the SpanishNetwork of Excellence for Research in Respiratory Diseases (CIBERES).Dr. Barreiro is currently Editor-in-Chief of Archivos de Bronconeumología andAssociate Editor of the Journal ofApplied Physiology (since July 2011). She is also a member of the EditorialBoard of the American Journal ofRespiratory and Critical Care Medicine since January 2012.
